I love the flow, the mystery and spontaneity of an ink loaded brush, pen nib or wooden stick. Gestures – blunt, humorous, action packed, capture my moods and fondness for the immediacy of life. And then again, inks strong opacity inspires moments to create bold graphic contrast. Gently used, ink lends itself to a more narrative, sensitive and classic illustrative side of me.  Ink: it all depends on the point one wants to make.
